Overview

Nestled between the mouth of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean is the small, charming city of Astoria. This hidden gem is tucked away in the upper, northwestern corner of the state off the coast. In fact, the state of Washington is minutes away via the famous Astoria Megler Bridge. This quaint town is known for its main street shops, restaurants and friendly neighbors. This is also where the infamous movie, "The Goonies" was filmed along with other movies such as "Free Willy" and "Kindergarten Cop." Regardless of being a homebody, adventurous or anywhere in between, Astoria is a perfect city to put down roots and start a career at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
